Hi! thanks for the vid
i was gonna make this for my bday coming up soon. I just need ur opinion on something.
do you think its possible to make a full size lava cake. I mean i don’t want to use a ramakin, but instead maybe a jello mold for a cake? possible?

yes you can! it cooks a bit differently so just make sure to check it after 8 minutes to see if you need to continue cooking or take it out. :)

hi there! there is 113.398 g in 4 ounces. yes you can bake them in muffin tins, however they will cook a little bit differently than in a ceramic ramekin. I would bake them anywhere from 8-12 minutes. Here are some tips to make sure they are done: The edges of the cakes are firm while the center is jiggly. Put a toothpick in the cake about half inch from the edge – if it comes out clean, it is done! hope this helps! :)

Thank you! I’m using my brother’s YouTube account so haha I’m his sister..
But I was wondering how many grams is 4 ounces? And can I bake them in muffin tins instead of ramekins because i’m craving for molten lava cake.
Thanks in advance ~

thank you so much for trying this recipe out. i’m so sorry that it didn’t work out for you!!! :(

can you tell me what you type of material you baked them in (i.e.. glass, metal, etc.) the material heats up differently so you may be required to adjust the cooking time. and by eggy, did you mean they were over cooked or under cooked?

i hope this helps remedy the issue for next time if you decide to give it another go!

I had a bad experience with this recipe, i warning to those who do not have ramekins. I made this exactly as it instructed, and it was a nasty eggy, disgust. I wasted my good chocolate and i was very upset

yes you can! you can make them in a cupcake tin lined with paper, but just be sure to leave some room so you can easily peel the paper off. =)
