* 175g (6oz) self-raising flour
* 2½ tbsp cocoa powder
* 1tsp bicarbonate of soda
* 150g (5oz) caster sugar
* 2 eggs
* 150ml (¼pt) corn oil
* 150ml (¼pt) milk
* 2tsp vanilla extract
* 125g (5oz) dark chocolate (70% cocoa solids)
* 397g can Carnation Caramel
* 1tbsp icing sugar

This cake is SPECTATULAR, 10/10. It’s very rich stays fresh for 5 or 6 days under a lid and just generally rocks.

personally I’d use a little less oil, perhaps 110-125g.
